Dean's Message Oil and Gas Engineering Department, although it is one of the newest departments in the University of Technology, it is considered distinguished in preparing petroleum engineers capable of working in foreign and local companies, thanks to the excellence of this department in its academic programs prepared according to the latest modern international trends and standards and scientific research in the field of specialization. Our goal is to meet the needs of the oil industry, which keep pace with national and global trends in developing working skills through the platforms of modern programs used by international oil companies, as well as practical training programs, field visits to oil fields and scientific research skills. The department provides an encouraging educational and research environment and diverse learning communities, focusing on active and effective learning, so that all students can explore new scientific concepts, and develop their leadership skills to reach these students to the extent of competence and mastery of these skills. The goals of the department are to prepare engineers specialized in the field of oil and gas engineering with advanced scientific skills. Finally, the Oil and Gas Engineering Department at the University of Technology, with its developed programs, and the modern education technologies that it possesses, is the perfect place for a distinguished educational environment in preparing oil and gas engineers with the ability to compete for job opportunities in international and local oil companies.
