Dr. Najem Al-Rubaiey completed his BSc in 1988 on Chemical Engineering from University of Technology-Iraq and his Mph leading to PhD in 1995 on Physical Chemistry from Reading University, UK. He started his work with the University of Technology as an assistant professor. He is currently the Vice-Prisident for Scientific Affairs at the Department of Petroleum Technology. He is a member of IEEE and American Chemical Society. He has published more than 30 papers in respected scientific journals. His research interest is in corrosion, water treatment and other environmental aspects. He has participated in many international conferences, programs and workshops.
